African Queen: Tribal Accessories for Spring 2011
Even though it’s waaay past my bedtime, I’m sitting here watching one of my favorite movies ever - Casablanca. And of course, I got a wave of fashion inspiration.
Patterns and fabrics inspired by African and Indian cultures have been emulated by the world’s top designers as long as anyone can remember. Spring 2011 is no exception. Missoni and Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. and had some beautiful examples in their RTW runway shows.
