Budget Fashionista: Rachel Rachel Roy
Designer Rachel Roy first popped up on the radar after marrying former Jay-Z associate Damon Dash, but has made a lasting mark on fashion through her eponymous clothing line.
Her sleek, vibrant designs have been worn by everyone from First Lady Michelle Obama to Gabrielle Union and Kim Kardashian. Her fashions will usually cost you at least $400, but the fabulous Ms. Roy recently launched a new line for the budget fashionista, dubbed Rachel Rachel Roy. This line includes everything from clothes and shoes to statement jewelry, and is available here or in your local Macy’s store.
The Rachel Roy Web site is amazing because in addition to feeding your online shopping habit, Rachel Roy almost becomes your personal stylist with her monthly outfits called “Rachel’s Picks.”
